Hi! I am Dave.
I build AI and GPU-accelerated pipelines for companies that move enormous amounts of video. Based in Chula Vista, CA. With a 20-year background in broadcast, I specialize in connecting the dots between complex media systems. Off the clock, I'm usually building desktop applications in React and Electron, pushing the limits of local hardware or writing electronic music in FL Studio.

01 / AI and GPU pipelines
Agentic orchestration, Bedrock and Ollama, Twelve Labs and Reality Defender. Deepfake detection and automated metadata tagging — cloud-native pipelines that move enormous amounts of video without anyone babysitting them.

05 / Electronic music
Progressive house, mostly, and unapologetically influenced by the artists in that scene. Written at the same desk as everything else, one arrangement at a time.

04 / Code for the fun of it
Small tools, automation, Groovy workflow engines, SQL and Python — whatever is currently annoying me. Some of it ships to customers; most of it just saves me an hour a week.

Sunsets, ducks, stages, mountains, the moon over a cypress tree. Nothing serious — I just like being outside with a camera. Everything behind this page is mine.
